Using an Escrow Service
To protect yourself against misunderstandings, misrepresentation or fraud, Ballroomdancers.com
highly recommends that you use an escrow service whenever you conduct a transaction with a third party.
An escrow service protects both the buyer and the seller by securing the purchase amount until both
parties are satisfied with the outcome. If the buyer is satisfied with the merchandise, the
payment is then forwarded to the seller. If the buyer is not satisfied, he or she returns the
merchandise to the seller, and the payment is returned to the buyer when the seller has received
the returned merchandise.
There is normally a small fee associated with an escrow service, either a flat dollar amount or a percentage of the sale. A seller may choose to pass this fee off to the buyer, or he may choose to absorb the cost himself. This particular seller has indicated that the buyer is to pay the escrow fee.
Ballroomdancers.com does not provide any type of escrow service. For this you will need to use another company. You can use any service of your choosing, however we recommend using Escrow.com. They are a highly reputable company, and their services are extremely easy to use. Fees range between 3% to 6% of the purchase price, and is added to the purchase price of the product. Payment for both the product and fees are made directly to Escrow.com. They accept check, credit card, money order or wire transfer.
