| 3-5 | 4&1 | Three small steps back (backward runs), LRL. | Release right hand from lady's back. With tone in left arm, lead lady to step back away from you. |

| 8-10 | 4&1 | Three small steps forward (forward runs), RLR. | Resume normal closed hold on 10. |
