How do I hang or store my smooth costumer?

My dress is now stoned, carefully hand-washed and pressed, but what do I do with it now? It has elastic skin-tone straps with off-the-shoulder chiffon sleeves (which aren't used for hanging). I'm concerned now that I've added stones, that the weight will stretch out the straps too much. The skirt is 3 layers of fabric and chiffon, very full so now that it's pressed I don't want to wrinkle it. I currently have it over two hangars, but I'm afraid the weight of the lower stoned skirt may pull against the hangar and loosen the stones.

What do you ladies do with your gowns for storage or transport? Do I attach long ribbon loops to the inside of the dress and use those to support the weight?

I use dry cleaner's pant hangers to lay my heavy dresses over to store. If one is not enough I may use 2 to support the dress so it will not get stretched out.

I have 1 HEAVY fringed and stoned Latin dress that will not lay nicely over a hanger, that dress lays flat on a shelf in my closet.

Thanks, I'll do that. I also found some rubbery, non-slip shelf material so I put that on the hangar it's draped on. The dress is not as heavy as one I had tried on, but it would be way too much for the straps.
