Hi to All,
Although Jonathan has explained the figuration correctly, readers may be interested that the steps are part of a variation, danced in the Slow Foxtrot, which was popular in the 60's, called the 'Double Open Telemark'.
Having danced an Open Telemark continue with the figuration as explained, but not the timing. The timing used for the complete variation in the Slow Foxtrot is: S,Q,Q,Q,Q,Q,Q. The footwork (heels, toes)of step 4 became a toe. Lady closed the feet on the 6th step keeping on the toes. Of course, step 7 could end in a closed position instead of PP.
