Your Q sounds like you are a beginner.

Do not get into too complex a figure to commence .

A natural turn followed by closed changes to DC, and then a Rev turn , sets your " stage " . A whisk may be the next figure to add to your sequence . Build from that.

If you add the Spin turn.. use at a corner ( less amount of turn to negotiate )
