Re: What is sequence dancing?

In Sequence Dancing all the couples are doing the same steps and the same timing. The dances are either 16. 24. or 32 bar phrased. There is a big following for English Sequence Dancing world wide. Not to be confused with English Old Time Dancing. In Australia they have in competition a style called New Vogue. In English Sequence Dancing it is based on the modern style. There are literally scores of dances in this style in both latin and modern. If you Google Sequence dancing and go to Queensland you might be suprised at their web site. It's worth looking at. The English Sequence Dancing are an organisation on their own, nothing to do with the IDSF. I wonder if that explains it.
