If you don't have a dance shoes shop in your area I can recommend Karizmah Dance Shoes in Dallas, TX. You can order on line any of the name brands, but you can not send them back if they don't fit . You can buy on Ebay, but you don't usually know the brand or the quality. If you buy from Karizman and they don't fit you can send them back AS LONG AS YOU DON'T DANCE IN THEM. http://www.karizmahdanceshoes.com or call 214-221-4201

As for your clothing, I've had good luck ordering from Star Dance Shop. http://www.stardanceshop.com/info.html

With a Latin shirt you might not want to get it stoned. IF you do want that flash - get Swarvoski stones, they cost more, but they show up on the floor. Prices quoted on most dance wear sites are for Korean stoned garments. These stones just don't show up on the floor very well. Also it's a LOT easier to resell costumes that are stoned in Swarvoski than Korean.

Hope this helps.

If you are competeing as amateurs, as opposed to pro-am, be sure to check the rules for dress. All levels have strict dress codes. Here is what most people wear for practice in my studio. Men: dress pants or dance pants, proper shoes, t-shirts, polo shirts or dress shirts. Women wear skirts or dresses that allow for plenty of movement. Longer length for smooth/standard and shorter for latin. The proper shoe or women's practice shoes. No one practices in jeans, shorts or capri pants.
