I'm a new teacher in a small studio and have been wearing my shoes quite frequently. I'm not sure if this is a "no no" but I've been wearing my open toe heels without any stockings. My problem is now they are starting to smell and look stained, and I'm not sure how to clean them. They're a satin "Eva" style Capezio, so I don't want to damage the satin either. Thanks for ANY advice!

Actually, there is another thread about shoes. Search this forum. So here's my pitch, if your shoes are "fabric" be it mesh or the satin fabric you can actually wash them. YEP. Wash them in the washing machine.
Put the shoes in a mesh zippered laundry bag with a couple of washclothes. I throw mine into a regular non-bleach added, detergent cycle with my bath towels. Also, buy some replacement insoles and suede 1/2 bottom shoe soles if you need to replace them take the shoes and "soles" to a shoe repair shop. I've had the same shoes for a very very long time. When you dry your shoes out - I stuff my shoes with the plastic grocery bags like shoe trees and let the shoes air dry. The fabric and the insoles come out beautiful. Saves lots of money.
