There are websites where you can post your need for a partner (like this one) but in my experience, it is best to talk to people at your studio and let them know you want a partner. Try to recruit a friend. Go to dance parties, if you can. Do not expect to find a partner that is better than you. Good male dancers do not want to start over again with a beginner. Do not be too picky. Judge the guy on how keen he is to learn, not his looks, age (within reason) or how fast he picks up steps. We have had a few men come our studio who were nothing to look at and socially awkward who turned out to be terrific dancers. The women who rejected them are kicking themselves now.
