IS YOUR WEBSITE RESTRICTING PRINTING OF LADY'S PARTS OF THE AMERICAN STYLE DANCES? I'VE HAD MY PRINTER CHECKED TWO TIMES, AND STILL GET MIXED UP PRINTING: MAN'S PART WHEN LADY'S PART IS SELECTED, OVERVIEW PRINTED (BUT NOT SELECTED) WITH LADY'S PART PRINTED INCOMPLETELY. I'M CURRENTY WORKING
WITH TANGO AND MAMBO.

No, the website doesn't restrict anything with respect to the written content. It's free for all to read and use in their studies. However, it is meant first and foremost to be displayed on screen, and because of this, we tailor the presentation to that format. To that end, we have employed a number of interface techniques that rely upon CSS and Javascript. In the case of the descriptions, man's and lady's parts, and precedes and follows, we use tabs. And while tabs are very elegant as a web page tool, they don't always play nice with printers.

Depending on a number of factors such as your operating system, browser and printer settings, printing tabbed content from a web page can yield mixed results. Unfortunately, it seems that your results were less than stellar.

We do plan to offer PDF printing at some point in the near future. However, although it hasn't been decided yet, we're leaning toward making that a premium-only feature. For the meantime, and/or for those who don't plan to upgrade to a premium membership, I have two ideas for you:

(1) A simple workaround is to select, copy and paste the text off of the web page and into a text editing program such as TextEdit, or NotePad or WordPad (Every computer has a free one, and many of our users have more advanced tools such as Apple's Pages or Microsoft Word). HTML editors work even better, as they tend to do a better job of preserving the formatting of the table containing the text.

(2) Assuming you have a mobile phone or tablet, you can use our mobile website, https://mobile.ballroomdancers.com/, to view the written content. Although it's not a printed page, it's accessible anytime, and your phone should be nearly as easy to hold and read on the dance floor as a stack of 8.5x11 papers.
