Find and Arthur Murray Studio and become and instructor. They will train you to sell.
You may even find a professional partner at the studio for you or compete in pro-am with your student. It's a big bucks market.

However, if you want to teach DANCE, you'll need real training, not 'chain studio' 6 week wonder material.

BYU is among a few Universities that offer degrees in dance education.

Take the high road -

Can you tell me the difference between the two?
Can they both be combined?
I want to do it as a living and also compete.

The minor I'm doing is only 15 credits. However, each class is only one credit or sometimes even a half a credit. Once you reach gold level, you have to tryout for the class, which is very competitive and may take several semesters or years to get into. Ballroom is huge in Utah. There are a lot of good dancers, but only so many spots.
