Headweight reared it's ... anyway, yeah- tonight during lessons. What was it, let me think... Double-reverse, fallaway, slip-pivot into la de da de whatever. I was first not using my head, but rather collapsing the left side of my body, THEN I wasn't letting my headweight carry me around the rest of the rotation on the end.

Of course, we can't forget my anticipating the slip-pivot and crowding him into making him take a larger step than necessary, cutting off our rotation with ME in the WAY.

*That* was a fun lesson!

Diva Ginger. Don't you do first the Fallaway then the Slip Pivot followed by the Double Reverse Spin.
Before the Fallaway a Running Weave and two Side Locks into the Fallaway. It is usual to finish that group with an Oversway or a Throwaway Oversway.
The Fallaway Slip Pivot is not an easy step to do. If you can Google Marcus Hilton Basic Foxtrot there is a Throwaway on bar 18 after a Closed Impetus Turn. The part to watch for is when he moves his left foot out of the ladies way as she steps through . I was made to actually pull that foot towards the RF because it was impeding my partners step past. Another thing to look at is the amount of compresion there is after the three steps of the Fallaway.

dear polished orders of steps change. Especially for floorcraft when another couple is in the way. This is why a teacher not a discussion board is the best source for your specific needs not marcus' routine based on those tow superb athletes and their capabilities.
