From that description it sounds like this would be a for profit rather than a non-profit. I was going to suggest a cooperative , thatis people join and "pay" for it either with cash or volunteer work (which help keep cost down). Co-ops usually are non=profit but don't have to be. As Ive been try to establish a dance society/club, Im familiar with many issues you'll face, insurance, music rights, membership, advertising, taxes .
Id rather have a independent club but being associated with a organization helps
solves many of those issue.
