Hi
Can you do a Right closed change after doing an Outside Change moving to the left from a corner to set up to do a 1/4 turn to the right into a basic weave.

If you have danced the Outside Change at a corner, man will need to move forward on RF, outside partner, into a natural figure, but if I understand your alignment correctly, the RF fwd step will be facing DW on the old LOD, and if you dance 1-3 of Natural Turn, making 3/8 to R, man will be backing LOD, but still be on RF. He can't check back into a Weave as he is on the wrong foot, and he doesn't have a very useful alignment either.

Why not take the RF fwd, outside partner into a left whisk, instead? Man will turn into the whisk, and end facing DC on new LOD, from which he could dance a Weave from PP.

Hi
This would be a bronze competition so I could not use the Weave from PP. I would be approaching the Long side corner doing the Back Lock,Closed Impetus, Reverse Pivot, Reverse Corte, Outside Change. Now onto short side. Man moves Rt fwd into outside partner DW new line of dance, right into Rt closed change still facing DW new line of dance, then 1/4 turn the left facing DC new line of dance, then into Basic Weave. The short side is 40 feet long so need that extra step. Could this work.
Would this also work, outside change, to Chasse from PP, into another Chasse, into Natural Spin turn.

thanks

Hi
I would be dancing into the first long corner finishing with an outside change facing DW New Lod, with Rt foot OP along short side of room. I would then do a Closed Change Natural to Reverse. Then a 1/4 turn to the left to be facing DC New LOD to set up for a Basic Weave. Does this sound good.

thanks for your assistance

Hi Superstunts2008,
I believe you would get a prompt reply if you named the figures in your Waltz syllabus.
