The weekly dance selection does not have synchronized picture and sound. I am using eMac 10.3.9 (Panther).

I reinstalled Flash Player 9.0,124.0 but it doesn't improve display.

Plays synchronized for me.

Do you have a consistent delay, or are the audio and video running at different speeds? The latter often happens when a computer is too slow (or doing too many other things) to play the video.

I sometimes have to close other windows and programs before I can play higher quality videos with good a/v sync.

Does it play smoothly from start to stop? If it starts and stops during play there could be network issues at fault.

1, The audio and video are running at different speeds.
2.The video moves in "stop-motion" mode until the audio finishes about 70% through the routine, then the video finishes smoothly,
3. All other file windows are closed and I have alternated between Firefox and Safari browsers

This sounds like what would happen if your computer is not fast enough.

This asynchronizing problem all started when you changed your format, that excluded the Quicktime choice, in June 2010.
I havent modified my computer in over two years. It has a CPU speed of 700 MHz, Memory of 256 Mb,and a Bus Speed of 100 MHz.
If it became inadaquate I apologize.

"It has a CPU speed of 700 MHz, Memory of 256 Mb,and a Bus Speed of 100 MHz."

That is unfortunately unlikely to be a machine that can keep up with the growing demands of today's online media.

Which is too bad, because as you pointed out it probably worked fine with the more modest demands of previous methods.
