I hope there is someone that can give me the title of this pieve of Waltz...I think it's viennese style, but I'm not sure:

Kind regards and many thanks in advance,

It's most definitely a Viennese Waltz. And it sounds like something you'd have to hunt into Austrian archives to find your answer. It's the kind of song you are likely to hear in an old film, and then you'd have to search for its name that way.
I can envision those old concert halls and dance halls in Austria, like you see in "Sound of Music" and see how this waltz would fit right in.
Good luck. You've got a tough one to figure out. Maybe a poster on this board will save your day by knowing the tune.

It doesn't really sound to me like one you'd actually hear in Vienna. They truly tend toward actual classical music.

This sounds to me more like Lawrence Welk....it has a real 1950's-60's-70's flavor.

Try putting in Lawrence Welk (champagne music) and Waltz into the search and maybe you'll get a name....at least it's possible.

I don't think it's this, but a big thank you anyway! All ideas are welcome!

That's a nice song. I used to watch Lawrence Welk with my grandfather every week when I was a boy (Or was it every night I was at his house?). This song has a sound that is almost too "big" to be his orchestra. Isn't there an iPhone application where you hold the phone to the music, and software searches databases for the song's info?

Yes there is. It's called "Shazam" and is a free app. That being said, I have found that it is not very good at identifying ballroom tunes. If it's a piece that has not been tampered with too much to make it danceable, then silver's idea is a great one. Unless you don't have a smart phone... in which case, go make friends with someone who has one. Good luck!
Definitely waltz but perhaps not ballroom.

The arrangement and performance sound like something more for a (beer) festival than a formal dance.

Good luck.

JJ has a point. Listen and you can hear the "oompa-pa-pa" usually played by tubas. It's possible the song could be a polka. Here are 2 web sites you might try contacting for help:
http://www.internationalpolka.com/
http://www.slviennawaltz.org/

Look for other polka and waltz organizations, too.

If you find out, let us know. I'm curious.
