Yes, eventually.
I've laid the groundwork for a number of tools, including private messaging, a wiki-style encyclopedia, dance lessons, announcements, user comments, etc. Any one of them can be individually developed in a relatively short time, but I have other tasks to tackle, first.
The first half of this year will be dedicated to 4 primary goals: (1) Finishing phase 1 of the mobile web app, which will include My BDC, Learn the Dances, and Variation of the Week. (2) Upgrading the entire website, including the new visual theme and tightening security, (3) Completing the content for Learn the Dances through full bronze, 21 dances, including step descriptions, mans' and ladys' parts, precedes & follows, and videos. (4) Filming and post production for the first round of full-instruction videos (the kind you would see on an instructional DVD, as opposed to our short narrated demo clips).
I'll be putting most everything else on hold until these are complete. So even though I have a lot of enhancements I'd like to add to Dancetalk, they'll have to wait a while. The current upgrade is mostly a visual and security enhancement, except for the search feature which was a quick and easy addition.
