For my upcoming showcase I am considering thigh highs with a garters because it goes with my outfit style but we are doing some swing through-the-legs slides and I am worried garters wouldn't stay where they should. Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm assuming, of course, that you will not be using some kind of belt.

If so, unless there have been some significant developments in the quality of elastic garters, a lot depends on where they sit on the curve of the thigh.

I imagine that you're wondering what a guy is doing responding to this question.

The answer is that I'm old enough to remember the age before pantyhose were developed to make women even more miserable. I remember the complaints and constants adjustments by my adult female relatives and the rings that elastic garters left around their legs.

Plus, most teenage guys in the late sixties gained some kind of experience with garters and garter belts, especially on prom night.

Thanks for the response. The idea was to wear them with a garter belt because I don't trust them to stay up on their own. I guess I could just play around with it and see since I have a few weeks.
