Wedding Dance

My fiance and I really want to dance to Chris Brown's Next 2 you as our first dance. I know it's fast for what people usually use as a first dance song, but we love it. Which dance would pair nicely with this song?

I would suggest you to go for Ballroom dancing. It is one of the popular dance form in United States. A nice ballroom dress will do the trick for you.

Mrs. Smith... First off Congrats on the Wedding So after listening to your song (which is a great one!) You can either do a nice slow rumba or a really nice hustle.... Personally i recommend putting the two together in a medley type form. Best of Luck and HAVE FUN!!

The song has what I call a universal 4/4 timed beat. As Chicagodancer19 said a Hustle will work just fine as will a Cha-Cha or a Swing. You can also dance a Tango or Foxtrot but it's just not in the character of the song.

Your first dance song can be almost anything you want but if you are planning to go to an instructor you should pick out at least a 2nd & 3rd choices in addition to this one.

If we are faced with an unusual song for a first dance we want to know if there is any special significance to the song choice. If the answer is "I just like/love this song" I will ask for a couple of more choices.

Not every song makes a nice "First Dance"
