Hello,

I would like to know What are the pelvis movements in Cha Cha Cha and Samba?
Is the pelvis goes backwards or to the side, in Cha Cha Cha? Where can I get exact explanations\videos about pelvis movements in various Latin dances?

Thank you in advance,
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
For strict technical description, I'm using Walter Laird's "Technique of Latin Dancing".
The preface of the dances describes the principles of pelvic and hip actions, while the specific figures, under the "action taken" describes the specific pelvis tilt (in samba) or the hip movements (in cha-cha).
Hope this helps.
