How long does it take a classified ad to show up? I have three listings (they show as Active in MyClassifieds) for dresses but they are not showing up in your classified ads. I have deleted and re-posted once with a different browser to see if it made a difference but they are still not showing up - even after 24 hrs.

Classified ads will not be displayed publicly if your user privacy level set to maximum (otherwise known as a "stealth account"). Stealth accounts are for those who wish their very existence to be hidden from the public.

If you want to be able to post classified ads, directory listings, and public messages to the message board, you need to lower your privacy level to medium. Medium privacy means that the existence of your account can be known, but the only information people can find out about you is (1) that you exist, (2) your username or "display" name, and (3) an optional photo or icon. Also, if you post any ads or messages, obviously any information contained therein will be public as well.

To change your privacy level to medium, log in to your user account, then click on the "Custom Settings" tab. Change the setting, then click the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the page.

Once you have changed your privacy settings, you will not need to re-post the ads. They already exist, and will appear immediately when the appropriate settings are in place.
