At long last, we proudly bring you 40 new demo videos of International Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive, shot in HD and ready for prime time. As always, the first video of each level of each dance is open to the public, so feel free to stop by and check them out, whether you're a BallroomDancers.com member or not! Best of all, this final round of videos marks the completion of our entire syllabus. We now have videos of every figure in every dance, bronze, silver and gold. Come take a look There's never been a better time to upgrade to premium membership! Here is a link to the syllabus page of each of the 5 Latin dances: ![]() Videos with full instruction Now that we're nearly finished with the syllabus of narrated demo clips, it's time to move on to the next big milestone: complete instructional videos. You can see a few sample instructional videos HERE. Imagine never having to buy another expensive instructional DVD again! In October, we filmed instructional videos of the full bronze Int'l Latin and American Rhythm syllabus, as well as West Coast Swing and Salsa. In early January, we will do the same with bronze Int'l Standard, and what's left of American Smooth. Editing will begin next week, so come back soon to start seeing our new instructional video series. This is good news for non-members, too, because the first few videos in each level of each dance will be available to the public. Have you seen our instructional video samples yet? If not, check them out HERE. ![]() Gift Cards and Free Shipping Looking for something to give to your dancing friends this holiday season? Look no further! The BallroomDancers.com gift card is the perfect gift for dance enthusiasts. You can buy them a gift card for a Premium Membership, or for a specific dollar amount to apply to any dance merchandise of their choice -- music CDs, instructional DVDs, and books. For our U.S. and Canadian customers, we're bringing back free shipping for the holiday season! All instructional DVD's and gift cards are eligible for free shipping regardless of the size of the order, and music or combined purchases of over $50 are also eligible. Sorry, ISTD books by themselves are not. ![]() Frequently Asked Question: Videos on Your iPad We are often asked how to view videos on the iPhone and iPad. You actually have a couple of choices: (1) Use our mobile website, http://mobile.ballroomdancers.com/ (2) Although not recommended for the smaller cel phone screens, the larger tablet screens will also play quite nicely with our full site, http://www.ballroomdancers.com/. If this is your preference, be sure to switch your user settings to play Quicktime movies, since the default Flash player is not supported on Apple's iOS devices. To change your user settings, log in to your user account on the full site, and click on the "Custom Settings" tab. Part-way down the page is a "Video Settings" option. Switch it to Quicktime, then click "Save Settings" at the bottom. Voila! Your iOS device can now view videos on our full site. Thanks again for participating in our newsletter program. Once again, we hope to see you soon. Until then, happy dancing! Sincerely, |
