Fact Sheet
Official Name:Chasse Reverse Turn
Dance / Level:Intermediate Bronze Quickstep
Aliases:Reverse Turn, Closed Reverse Turn, Simple Reverse Turn, Left Box Turn

The Chassé Reverse Turn is the Quickstep version of the first 3 steps of the basic Waltz Reverse Turn. It is a simple left-turning figure consisting of 3 steps, where the man and lady close their feet on the third step. It is most typically followed by a slight variation of the Progressive Chassé that begins with man backing line of dance, turning 3/8 to left to end facing diagonal wall. But it can also be followed by a Reverse Pivot, Four Quick Run, or any figure that begins on man's right foot, backing line of dance. For a complete list of preceding and following figures, refer to the precedes & follows tabs above.
